Client: Corrado Tamburini / Project type: ART CATALOGUE DESIGN

Corrado Tamburini is a wonderful reserved artist, active for several years now, who often addresses themes like a different humanity: a world that is tolerant and respectful of all forms of life. A society where the anthropocentric vision is replaced by a humbler awareness of equal belonging.

Corrado approached me to design an art catalogue showcasing his paintings and etchings realised between 1996 and 2001. In the book the artwork is accompanied by poems written by songwriters selected by Corrado himself from his favorite music groups: Mara Redeghieri [ Üstmamò ], Marco Mainini [B.E.V. ], Mirka Vaente [ Miraspinosa ] and Romina Salvadori [Estasia ].

As the poems were inspired by Corrado’s work, my typography was influenced by it all the same. It was a pleasure to experiment freely with typefaces and fluid layout.
